The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Abuja Council has resolved to work with the Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR) in order to achieve durable peace for sustainable development in Nigeria.

The resolution was contained in a congratulatory message to Bakut over his appointment as Director General signed by the council’s Chairman, Comrade Emmmanuel Ogbeche. The message reads, “It is needless to say that you have been of great help to the NUJ FCT Council given the way you inspired our journalists covering IPCR; we also resolve to work with your Institute towards achieving a peaceful society for mutual benefit and shared prosperity.”
