DG IPCR Receives delegation from Africa-Israel Initiative

The Director General of the Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR), Dr. Joseph Ochogwu on Wednesday received a delegation of Africa-Israel initiative in his office.

The DG, who promised to support the initiative, added that there’s a need to amplify the voice of peace globally.
He further stated that the Institute working with other partners in the education sector, is at the verge of developing a National curriculum on Peace education to be incorporated into Nigeria’s educational system to help instill the culture of peace and tolerance.
He said: “Whatever level of support that is not beyond us we will give. Whatever area we can support that is peaceful and nondiscriminatory, we will give.”
Dr. Ochogwu said he’s committed to projects that prevent crisis, adding that, “only by working together, we can end crises in the world.”
Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Bishop Sally Williams commended the management of the Institute for securing a beautiful edifice as office accommodation for IPCR, she then urged the DG to keep up the good work which is aimed at ensuring a peaceful Nigeria and Africa at large.
