IPCR, Geemla Technologies Partner To Promote Peace, Development In Nigeria
The Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR) and Geemla Technologies Limited (GTL) on Friday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aimed at promoting durable peace and sustainable development in Nigeria.
This partnership, formalized at the IPCR office in Abuja, seeks to empower 1,000,000 Nigerians including the Youths, through comprehensive training and certification in conflict prevention, management, and resolution as well as peacebuilding. This empowerment training will be delivered through interactive website and other digital platforms.
This initiative, which is a direct response to the increasing spate of violence in the nation, is aimed to build the skills of Nigerians towards entrenching a culture of peace, building mutual understanding across religious and ethnic divides, improving security, and fostering sustainable development.
Furthermore, the initiative, designed by IPCR – the apex think tank and peace promotion agency of Federal Government, aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda for a peaceful, secure, and progressive Nigeria.
Through this partnership, IPCR and GTL are poised to make a significant impact on Nigeria’s journey towards peace, stability, prosperity, empowering a new generation of Nigerians to become agents of positive change and contributing to a brighter future for the country.
Together, we will make Nigeria great!
